WhiskeyMate continues to expandit's data set to make it easier for you to add bottles to your collection!
Version 1.06 was our most jam-packed version enhancement yet, and unfortunately, we found a few items to clean up. This update is not only packed with bug-fixes, and, it also has loads of new UI enhancements to make your experience even more seamless!
We have added over 300,000 new entires to the WhiskeyMate database with over 100,000 new photos. This means that searching for and adding bottles to your collection is now easier than ever!
On the topic of search, we've improved the native App Search functionality to allow for search across all fields of the Whiskey Entry and to introduce fast pattern searching to be more forgiving on mis-spelled words.
With all of this extra data, we've made the Whiskey Price Stats feature we released in 1.06 even more robust and you will now find that there are more statistics on average price than ever before!

WhiskeyMate introduces a host of new features and improvements in its latest iOS app update. Users can now benefit from a whiskey completeness score that offers a comprehensive overview based on the number of fields completed in the whiskey object. The Collections and Shared Collections text search has been enhanced for better organization and accessibility. The user object has also undergone enhancements in preparation for upcoming features, ensuring a seamless user experience. Additionally, users can now access new Average Collection Price Stats, providing insights into pricing trends within their whiskey collections.
The user interface has been refined with several enhancements. Price stats are now available across relevant views, offering quick insights into whiskey pricing. The Collections view has been optimized with streamlined grid and list view options for a more user-friendly experience. The responsiveness of whiskey price stats in the Whiskey Feed and Detail Views has been improved for smoother interaction. Drag gestures in full-screen image views have been enhanced to eliminate image jumps, providing a more polished user experience. A convenient "Logout" button has been added to the profile view for streamlined app logouts. Users can now easily identify the active image in the Shared Collection View Collection Images Carousel, enhancing navigation. Additionally, a new help view has been introduced to guide users through understanding collection statistics.
Several bug fixes have been implemented to enhance overall app stability and functionality. Issues related to pictures not updating in the whiskey feed, app crashes upon logging out and logging back in, and collections not displaying correctly after the initial sign-up have all been addressed. On logout, all data is now removed from repositories to reinitialize the app state. Furthermore, formatting issues related to Price and Alcohol By Volume entries have been resolved, ensuring accurate and consistent data input. Enjoy an improved and more reliable WhiskeyMate experience with these updates.

One of the goals of WhiskeyMate has always been to meet the collector where they want to be met. We recognize that we have not always provided the best experience in low/no bandwidth environments and we have made significant improvements to that experience.

WhiskeyMate version 1.0
After a year of story boarding, development, and testing we are excited to finally launch WhiskeyMate for iOS via the Apple Appstore.
As my collection grew to the point where I could no longer reliably say I knew what I had and where I had it, I realized that I needed a tool to help my curate, organize, display, and share the collection. Having painstakenly built my collection over the previous 5 years, and not seeing a suitable application in the Apple Appstore, I set out to create an application that met the needs of my close friends and fellow collectors.
The motto at WhiskeyMate is Best Enjoyed When Shared and the application is centered around this concept. WhiskeyMate allows users to Create and Manage Collections, Wish Lists, and to Share their Collections with Friends. We have worked hard to build a user interface and experience that allows users to display the collections they have built in a way that they can be proud of and we hope you agree!
