Drift Audio

This Privacy Policy applies to Drift Audio: Sleep & Focus and related services operated by WhiskeyMate LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

• Health Data: Drift Audio does not request Health Connect, Google Fit, Apple Health, or other health-platform permissions, and does not access, collect, infer, use, or share health data.
• Core app usage: Audio playback, timers, presets, and imported sound playback run locally on your device.
• Optional diagnostics: If you enable Send crash reports, limited technical crash data may be sent to Sentry to diagnose reliability issues.
• Third parties: Optional crash diagnostics may be processed by Sentry. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.

• App preferences stored locally: volume settings, timer settings, equalizer preferences, mixer presets, theme or language choices, and similar app configuration.
• Imported audio files stored locally: if you choose to import your own sounds, those files remain on your device unless you remove them.
• No account profile data: we do not require you to create an account to use the core app.
• No advertising or analytics profile: we do not build a behavioral advertising profile from your listening habits.

• Notifications: Optional. Used for sleep timers, playback reminders, and similar alerts you choose to receive.
• File or library access: Optional. Used only when you choose to import your own audio files.
• Microphone: Drift Audio does not request or use microphone permission.
• Health services: Drift Audio does not request access to Health Connect, Google Fit, Apple Health, or similar health and fitness services.

If you enable Send crash reports in Settings > Privacy, the app may send limited technical diagnostic data to Sentry so we can investigate crashes and reliability issues.

• Crash logs and stack traces
• App version and build number
• Operating system version and device model
• Device locale or language
• Limited technical context related to the error

We use this information only to diagnose, fix, and prevent app failures. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or selling data.

When crash reporting is disabled, new crash events and performance sampling are not sent.

• Sentry: receives optional crash diagnostics only if you leave crash reporting enabled.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: handle billing, subscriptions, and payment processing for premium purchases under their own terms and privacy policies.
• No sale of personal or sensitive data: WhiskeyMate LLC does not sell personal data or health data.

• Core app data is stored locally and protected by your device security and the iOS or Android app sandbox.
• We limit transmitted data to optional technical diagnostics needed to investigate crashes.
• We do not intentionally include imported audio content, payment details, or health data in crash reports.
• Access to service-provider dashboards is restricted to authorized personnel who need it for support and maintenance.

• Local app data: preferences and imported audio remain on your device until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
• Optional crash diagnostics: retained in Sentry for a limited period under our retention settings, then deleted or automatically aged out.
• No health data retention: because Drift Audio does not access or collect health data, there is no health data to retain or delete.
• Deletion requests: if you believe optional diagnostics contain personal information and want us to review a deletion request, contact drift_audio@whiskeymate.net.

Drift Audio is designed to provide ambient audio features and does not knowingly collect personal information or health data from children.

If we materially change this Privacy Policy, we will update this page before the change applies and revise the date below.
