Why create a collection?

Collections are the primary way WhiskeyMate organizes bottles. Every bottle entry belongs to a collection, so creating a clear structure first makes adding and sharing bottles much easier later.

Steps to create a collection

1. Open the collection creation flow from the Collections area or main menu.
2. Enter a collection title.
3. Add an optional description to explain the theme or purpose of the collection.
4. Add a collection photo if you want cover art for the collection.
5. Save the collection and return to your main collection view.

Free versus Premium limits

Current WhiskeyMate builds limit free users to a single collection, while Premium allows additional collections and broader organization options.

Tips for a smoother setup

• Landscape images usually display best as collection covers.
• Network connectivity matters when saving new collections or uploading images.
• On supported Android flows, drafts can help recover unfinished collection setup.
