Recovering Drafts in the Unknown-Barcode Flow (Android 1.1.8)
Don’t lose work when you’re interrupted mid-add
What changed
The guided unknown-barcode enrichment flow introduced in 1.1.5 now preserves drafts if the app is backgrounded or closed mid-flow. When you return, you pick up exactly where you left off.
How it works
- Scan a bottle whose barcode isn’t in the catalog.
- Start the guided enrichment flow.
- If something interrupts you (phone call, app switch, app closed), don’t worry.
- Reopen WhiskeyMate → Add tab and you’ll see a prompt to resume the draft.
- Pick up where you left off and finish adding the bottle.
Tips
- If you don’t want to resume a draft, you can discard it from the prompt.
- Drafts are local to your device.
