Public sharing vs request-access sharing

WhiskeyMate still supports private request-access sharing (recipients request; you approve). New in this release: public collection sharing — friends open a link and browse a landing page without signing in.

How to make a collection public

1. Open the collection you want to share.
2. Find the Public sharing toggle (collection sharing / details controls).
3. Turn public sharing on, then use Share to send the link.

What visitors see

• A value teaser and style-spread preview
• Locked insights (encourage sign-up)
• A faded shelf preview of bottles
• Inline signup to join WhiskeyMate

Privacy tips

• Only make a collection public if you're comfortable with anyone who has the link seeing the teaser.
• Use request-access sharing when you want approval control and optional price visibility.
