Exporting a Whiskey Collection to PDF
Generate and customize PDF documents of your WhiskeyMate collections
Overview
Export to PDF lets you generate a formatted PDF version of one of your collections (useful for sharing, printing, or documentation). This is a Premium feature.
Where to find it
- iOS: From the Collections menu, select Export to PDF (locked if you don’t have Premium).
- Android: From the app menu, select Export Data (Premium-gated; shows a lock/upgrade prompt if you don’t have Premium).
How PDF export works
- Choose a collection: Select which collection you want to export.
- Select fields: Choose which bottle fields to include in the PDF.
- iOS: Select fields using the PDF Export Fields toggle list.
- Android: Select fields using checkboxes; Android also includes Check All / Uncheck All.
- Generate the PDF: Start the export and wait for the progress overlay to complete.
- Share or save:
- iOS: After the PDF is created, use Save PDF to open the system share sheet.
- Android: After export completes, WhiskeyMate opens a share chooser for the PDF.
Tips & troubleshooting
- Make sure the collection is synced: Exports use the data currently on your device; if you just signed in or recently added bottles, wait for sync to finish first.
- Large collections take longer: Export time depends on how many bottles you have and how many fields you include.
