Overview

WhiskeyMate provides powerful tools to help you organize your spirits. Whether you’re uploading new images, renaming collections, or analyzing statistics, our collection management features make it easy to keep track of every bottle.

Key Capabilities

• Manage Collection Images: Assign a unique cover image to each collection, making it visually distinct.
• Maintain a Wish List: Within any collection, keep a dedicated wish list for bottles you want to acquire.
• Share Collections with Others: Premium users can send or request access links to let friends view their curated lineup.
• Rename Collections: Easily update collection titles over time as your focus or theme evolves.
• Add Descriptions: Provide extra context—like tasting notes or collecting goals—in a short description field.
• View Collection Statistics: Get insights on average price, proof, or number of bottles, helping you see patterns in your inventory.

• iOS: Implemented in version 1.0 (released March 1, 2023).
• Android: Development stage, version 1.0 planned for March 1, 2025.
• Web: Development stage, version 1.0 planned for September 1, 2025.

How to Get Started

1. Create or Open a Collection: Access your list of collections from the main navigation. Tap on any existing one or create a new collection.
2. Update Cover Images: Tap the camera or image icon (iOS/Android) to set a unique photo for quick visual identification.
3. Add a Wish List: Within the collection, look for "Wish List" to track bottles you’re eyeing. Premium users can maintain multiple collections with unique wish lists.
4. Share with Friends: Tap "Share" (premium feature) to generate a link or request access from another user’s collection.
5. Check Stats: Scroll down to see average proof, total price, or other statistical insights about the collection’s contents.

Tips & Best Practices

• Use Meaningful Names: Labeling collections by brand, region, or whiskey style makes it easier to navigate and share.
• Keep Wish Lists Active: Regularly update your wish list so you never miss a new bottle release or a great deal.
• Try Multiple Views: Switch between list, grid, or cover-image layouts (depending on your platform) to find what works best for you.
• Analyze Trends: Use collection-level stats to identify high-value finds or see if your average proof is climbing.
