How Bars Claim an Official Place Menu

Verify your Google Place so your published WhiskeyMate menu becomes Official for guests

Why claim?

After you claim, guests see your Official published WhiskeyMate menu first at that Google Place. Community submissions stay available under View community menus.

Requirements

• WhiskeyMate Premium
• Collection with Public sharing turned on
• Bar / Restaurant mode on (pour prices)
• Bottles published the way you want guests to see them
• Business verification via Google Places phone or a verified email on the venue website domain (not Gmail/Yahoo)

Steps

1. Open your collection → Public sharing → publish + Bar/Restaurant mode.
2. Tap Claim place.
3. Search and select your Google Business listing.
4. Check verification options, then confirm with phone or business email.
5. Open the place hub and confirm the Official badge.

Keeping it fresh

• Update bottles and pour prices in your collection; keep public sharing on.
• Use Capture menu when photographing your board into your collection.
• Print or share the place URL / QR for tables.
