What is a Place Menu?
A Place Menu is a whiskey pour list tied to a real bar or restaurant on Google Places. Anyone can open the public link or find it in the app under Place Menus or Nearby Stores.

Community vs Official
- Community — customer-submitted from a photo of a printed menu. Useful as a tip, but not the venue’s official menu. Prices and bottles may be outdated.
- Official — the venue claimed that Google Place and linked their published WhiskeyMate Bar/Restaurant collection. Guests see Official first.
What Place Menus are not
- They do not add bottles to your personal collection when you contribute.
- They are not a guarantee of price or availability — confirm at the bar.
- Community lists are not “endorsed by the bar” unless the place is claimed and marked Official.
