Exporting a Whiskey Collection to PDF

<h2>Overview</h2> <p><strong>Export to PDF</strong> lets you generate a formatted PDF version of one of your collections (useful for sharing, printing, or documentation). This is a <strong>Premium</strong> feature.</p> <h2>Where to find it</h2> <ul> <li><strong>iOS</strong>: From the Collections menu, select <strong>Export to PDF</strong> (locked if you don’t have Premium).</li> <li><strong>Android</strong>: From the app menu, select <strong>Export Data</strong> (Premium-gated; shows a lock/upgrade prompt if you don’t have Premium).</li> </ul> <h2>How PDF export works</h2> <ol> <li><strong>Choose a collection</strong>: Select which collection you want to export.</li> <li><strong>Select fields</strong>: Choose which bottle fields to include in the PDF. <ul> <li><strong>iOS</strong>: Select fields using the <em>PDF Export Fields</em> toggle list.</li> <li><strong>Android</strong>: Select fields using checkboxes; Android also includes <strong>Check All</strong> / <strong>Uncheck All</strong>.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Generate the PDF</strong>: Start the export and wait for the progress overlay to complete.</li> <li><strong>Share or save</strong>: <ul> <li><strong>iOS</strong>: After the PDF is created, use <strong>Save PDF</strong> to open the system share sheet.</li> <li><strong>Android</strong>: After export completes, WhiskeyMate opens a share chooser for the PDF.</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <h2>Tips &amp; troubleshooting</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Make sure the collection is synced</strong>: Exports use the data currently on your device; if you just signed in or recently added bottles, wait for sync to finish first.</li> <li><strong>Large collections take longer</strong>: Export time depends on how many bottles you have and how many fields you include.</li> </ul>
