Why reports matter
The translations in WhiskeyMate are new, and collectors who read the language every day are the best people to spot what reads wrong. Every report goes to the team and is used to fix that language.
On iPhone, iPad or Android
- Open your Profile and find Preferred Language.
- Tap Report a translation problem, directly under the picker.
- Fill in What it says now and What it should say. Add anything else in the optional field, such as where you saw it.
- Tap Send report.
The report is filed against the language you are using at the time, so there is no need to say which language it is.
On the web
- Open Preferences and choose the language you want to report on.
- Click Report a translation problem under the picker and fill in the form.
On the web the option appears once a translated language is selected; it is hidden for English and System Default, which have no translation to report.
Good to know
- You need to be signed in to send a report.
- There is a daily limit on reports per account. If you reach it, try again the next day.
- The option is shown in English too, so you can report a language you have just switched away from.
