Prices in Your Currency

What it does

Since iOS 1.41 and Android 1.2.8, WhiskeyMate shows prices in the currency you choose instead of always using US dollars. Collection value, price ranges, price filters, insights and both price charts, including their axes, convert to match.

How to choose your currency

• iPhone, iPad and Android: open your Profile and pick a currency under Currency.
• Web: open Preferences, choose a currency and save.

The choice is saved to your account and follows you across devices.

How conversion works

• Totals and ranges are converted using current exchange rates.
• Each bottle keeps the price and currency you originally entered, so a bottle bought abroad still shows what you actually paid. See How WhiskeyMate Handles Currency.
• If exchange rates can’t be loaded, WhiskeyMate shows the amount in its original currency rather than guessing.

Other places prices appear

• Public bar menus show pour prices in the venue’s own currency, whatever your setting.
• Premium pricing comes from your App Store or Google Play storefront, in the currency you’re billed in.
