Pair WhiskeyMate with Your TV

This page links your Apple TV to your WhiskeyMate account. Pairing is quick: start on Apple TV, then confirm here on your phone or computer.

Step-by-step pairing
  1. Open WhiskeyMate on Apple TV and go to the pairing screen. You’ll see a 6‑character code (and usually a QR code).
  2. On your phone or computer, either scan the QR code or go to whiskeymate.net/tv/pair.
  3. Log in to the WhiskeyMate account you want linked to this Apple TV.
  4. Enter the TV code and click Pair TV. When you see “Success”, return to your Apple TV.

  • Install TestFlight on Apple TV and your iPhone/iPad (same App Store account).
  • Join the beta using this link on your phone/computer: TestFlight invite.
  • Then install WhiskeyMate from TestFlight on Apple TV.
Tip: If you already accepted the invite on iPhone/iPad, open TestFlight on Apple TV to install/update the build.

  • Code invalid/expired: generate a new code from Apple TV and try again.
  • Already used: pairing codes are single‑use. Start again on Apple TV.
  • Stuck waiting: confirm Apple TV is online, then retry pairing with a fresh code.
  • Premium required: if you’re not Premium, open WhiskeyMate on mobile to upgrade, then come back here.

tvOS Version 1 is designed as a display-first companion experience for Premium members. Use Apple TV to browse and showcase your collection; use iOS/Android/web to edit collections and bottles.
