Create a Wish List to keep tabs on must-have spirits

Overview

WhiskeyMate’s Wish List feature helps you keep an eye on bottles you’d like to buy or try in the future. Whether you’re tracking down a rare release or saving everyday favorites, the Wish List makes it easy to organize the bottles you hope to acquire.

Key Highlights

• Easily Add to Wish List: Found a bottle you’re interested in? Quickly mark it as a wish-list item from the Search or Feed views.
• Separate from Owned Bottles: Your Wish List is separate from your main collection, so you can keep track of bottles you don’t yet own.
• Collection Integration: Once you acquire a bottle, move it from the Wish List into your main collection without losing track of what you wanted.
• Stay Organized: Each collection in WhiskeyMate has its own Wish List, helping you keep track of future purchases by category.

How to Create and Use a Wish List

You can add bottles to your Wish List directly from the **Search View** or **Feed View**:

On iOS:

• List View: Swipe left on a bottle to reveal the **Add to Wish List** option.
• Grid View: Long-press an item to access **Add to Wish List** from the options menu.

On Android:

• List View: Tap the **bookmark icon** next to the bottle to add it to your Wish List.
• Grid View: Long-press a bottle to bring up the **Add to Wish List** option.

Managing Your Wish List

• On iOS: Open the **Collection View** to see and manage the Wish List for that collection.
• On Android: Use the **Wish List** option in the main menu to view and manage your saved bottles.

Best Practices

• Regularly Check Your Wish List: Availability and prices change over time, so keeping your Wish List updated helps ensure you don’t miss out on bottles you want.
• Use Separate Collections for Organization: Since each collection has its own Wish List, you can keep whiskey, rum, tequila, or other spirits organized by category.
