Organize Your Passion Your Way
Leverage multiple collections for better categorization and control
Overview
With WhiskeyMate’s Premium plan, you can create as many collections as you like—perfect for categorizing spirits by type, occasion, or even rarity. Instead of juggling all your bottles in one place, group them however best fits your style: a special selection of rare finds, everyday favorites, or tasting-themed lineups. Multiple collections empower you to manage a growing library like a pro.
Key Highlights
- Unlimited Collections: Premium users can create more than just the single default collection, unlocking the freedom to organize your spirits your way.
- Category Flexibility: Sort by whiskey type (e.g., Bourbon, Scotch), spirit type (e.g., rum, tequila), brand, or even events (e.g., Holiday Whiskeys).
- Separate Wish Lists: Each collection can feature its own wish list, letting you plan future purchases for distinct sub-collections.
- Enhanced Stats & Insights: View average proof, price distribution, or other statistics at the collection level for deeper analysis.

How to Create Multiple Collections
- Upgrade to Premium: If you’re not already a premium subscriber, go to your profile or settings to upgrade and unlock multi-collection support.
- Tap "New Collection": From the Collections screen, tap New Collection (or similar button). Give it a descriptive name and optional cover image.
- Choose a Focus: Decide how you’ll categorize the collection—by whiskey style, brand, country, or any theme that suits your approach.
- Populate & Manage: Add bottles, set wish lists, and track stats. Switch between collections easily from the main menu or using left-right swipes (depending on your platform).
Tips & Best Practices
- Avoid Over-Splitting: While unlimited collections are great, avoid creating so many that it becomes cumbersome to track. Keep your categories intuitive.
- Use Collection-Level Descriptions: Add short notes explaining the theme or purpose of each collection for easy reference and sharing.
- Combine with Shared Collections: If you share a premium collection, others can see exactly how you’ve organized your whiskey lineup.
- Compare Stats: Analyze price or proof differences across multiple collections, refining future purchases and curation choices.
